Rachel's Sculpture

This sculpture reflects what I hope happens when I create. Though you can't see it in this image, the swirl of color starts at the top of the head and curls down around the back of the neck and transforms the arm. I wanted this to represent Divine Inspiration flowing down through my mind, out my fingertips, and pointing back to the one who created color.

I often see life through a lens of a camera. As I look closely, I can see my self in the mist, I am inspired.

Instead of seeing the Dodgers, see the city of LA. LA is a cultural center, so what not a better place to have a cultural revolution. Effect those that are shaping our culture and change culture. Like the cultural revolution of the 60’s we will challenge the belief system of the cultural epicenters and cause a nation to be changed. Influence the influencers. A revolution of a focus from me to a focus on you (others).

The statue of liberty represents artists being liberated. But the statue is in parts. The arm represents holding up light to the world and the angel being a light to the world. The real heart wrapped in a generic heart was to represent what happens when I think of iluminer. My heart beat accelerates.
